High Molecular Weight Kininogen (HK) is a multifunctional plasma glycoprotein involved in the intrinsic coagulation pathway, inflammation, and angiogenesis. This 120 kDa protein serves as a cofactor for prekallikrein activation and bradykinin release, and is increasingly studied for its role in vascular biology, neuroinflammation, and cancer progression.

HK is cleaved into HKa (cleaved kininogen), which exhibits antiangiogenic properties and modulates immune responses. This reagent is supplied as a biotechnology-grade solution, filtered through 0.22 m membranes and prepared in ultrapure water. It is suitable for use in protease binding studies, endothelial assays, and mechanistic investigations of the kallikrein-kinin system.

Key Features:

  • Human-derived high molecular weight kininogen, 120 kDa
  • Supplied as a filtered solution in ultrapure water
  • Validated for coagulation, inflammation, and angiogenesis research
  • Biotechnology grade; RUO designation
  • Stored at -20C for optimal stability

Indication for Use:
This product is for Research Use Only. It is not intended for human or animal use, diagnostic procedures, or therapeutic applications.
