Heater 4kW Nordic hot tub 074201 or 21074201-R is a factory original replacement heater for select model Nordic hot tubs that use a 15 inch long heater with built-in sensors.
The 2 sensors are included with this heater and built-in.
Now ships with a Plug-n-Click cord that requires adapter plug 074200 (sold separately) if not connecting to a newer model Balboa BP Series control system (sold separately if needed).
Most Nordic hot tubs where there are 2 wires that connect the heater to circuit board will need this adapter 074200 (sold separately).
15 inch heater tube measurement (stainless steel style) that connects to 2 inch plumbing unions. (inside diameter of heater is 2 inches).
old style heater without the Plug n Click cord , but new style now has a Plug-n-Click cord that requires adapter plug 074200 when connecting to older style VS control systems (sold separately if needed).
This heater is now 074201-R and requires the adapter cord 074200 (sold separately) if connecting to an older Balboa VS type control system. Adapter plug not required when using with a newer Balboa BP type control system.
This new system put into place in 2022 now has factory torqued connects to the heater via a plug n click cord to avoid incorrect installation/loose heater wires – when using the factory installed plug n click cable, connect to circuit board with 074200 cable adapter as needed.

This heater now ships with a pre-torqued BP connector cable. To connect to an older style pack (non-BP series) you may also need the adapter plug 074200 which connects this plug with 2 eyelets to the circuit board.
