Description

The PASS SEYMOUR TP3LACC12 is a 3-gang, 3-toggle nylon wall plate in a light almond finish, sold in a package of 12. It is molded from self-extinguishing nylon rated for durability in demanding residential and commercial wiring applications. The plate measures 6.563 inches by 4.6875 inches, which is 3/16 inches taller and wider than standard-size wall plates. Licensed electricians install this plate as the finish cover for toggle-switch device boxes. The oversized dimension accommodates wall surfaces where drywall finishing or tile work leaves a larger gap around the box opening.

This wall plate is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations where three toggle switches occupy a single gang box assembly. It is commonly used in multi-switch lighting control locations such as hallways, stairwells, and room entries. The light almond color coordinates with standard almond-finish devices and trim. Each package contains 12 plates, making it a practical choice for new construction projects or renovation jobs requiring multiple identical covers at a single location or across multiple rooms.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed electrician following NEC guidelines for device finish covers. Turn off the branch circuit breaker before installing or removing wall plates to avoid contact with energized terminals on the underlying devices. Align the plate over the device box and secure with the screws provided by the device manufacturer. Do not overtighten mounting screws, as nylon plates can crack under excessive force.
