Description
Original Gizzmo, 1 1/2″ MPT, Winter Skimmer Protector GIZ1
The skimmer saver that gives before it breaks.
Original Gizzmo, 1 1/2″ MPT, part GIZ1 is a winterizing skimmer protector stocked under SKU PST-GIZ1. It threads into the skimmer port and stands in the throat as a hollow body, so when the water left in the skimmer freezes and expands, the Gizzmo takes the squeeze instead of the skimmer wall. It also blocks the port, which keeps water from backing into plumbing you already blew out. A cracked skimmer is a wall repair; this is the part that stops it from becoming one.
