Poolaroo Pro Tip

When replacing the faceplate on a vinyl or fiberglass pool, inspect the liner cut-out edge and the skimmer gasket at the same time. A worn or compressed gasket behind the faceplate is the most common source of seepage at this joint. Replace the gasket if it shows any flattening or cracking the faceplate and gasket are typically serviced together to avoid pulling the wall fitting twice.
