Description

The Pentair Clamp Knob (WC36-22Z) is the OEM replacement clamp knob for the IntelliPro VS, IntelliPro VSF, IntelliPro 2 VST, and Max-E-Pro series inground pumps.

The clamp knob secures the pump’s clamp band assembly, holding the strainer pot firmly against the pump housing to maintain a sealed, pressure-tight connection during operation. A damaged or missing clamp knob makes it impossible to properly tension the clamp band, which can result in air leaks at the pump housing joint and loss of prime. Replacing a worn or broken knob restores correct clamp tension and a secure housing seal.
