Description

The BELDEN INC. 4813 0051000 is a Cat6e Plus, 4-pair, unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) plenum-rated network cable with a CMP fire rating and a dark green jacket. Designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and institutional buildings, this cable supports high-speed data transmission in horizontal runs and backbone segments. Its CMP plenum rating makes it suitable for use in air-handling spaces where smoke and flame propagation standards apply. Licensed low-voltage electricians and data cabling technicians are the primary installers of this product.

This cable is suited for Cat6e Plus structured wiring in commercial office environments, schools, healthcare facilities, and other buildings requiring plenum-rated horizontal cabling. It is used in ceiling plenums, raised-floor air-handling areas, and other open-air HVAC plenums where non-plenum cable is not code-permissible. The dark green jacket aids in color-coded cable management and pathway identification in large installations.

Key Features

Cat6e Plus performance rating for high-speed data network infrastructure
4-pair U/UTP construction with no overall or individual pair shielding
CMP plenum fire rating suitable for air-handling space installations
Dark green jacket supports color-coded cable plant organization
Sold per unit (EA), one reel per unit

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style plenum network cable for use in Cat6e Plus structured cabling systems in commercial and institutional horizontal cabling applications.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or data cabling technician in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards and applicable local codes. De-energize and isolate all active network equipment before terminating cable runs. Avoid exceeding the cable minimum bend radius or maximum pulling tension during installation, as doing so can degrade transmission performance. CMP-rated cable is required by the NEC in plenum air-handling spaces and must not be substituted with a lower-rated jacket type in those environments.
