Each tank is individually pressure tested for safety and features a fully enclosed polypropylene and butyl water reservoir that helps maintain water purity by reducing rubber-to-water contact. Maintenance:
Maintain a pre-charge pressure of approximately 7 psi for optimal performance.
For accurate pressure readings, the 54846 Tank Pressure Gauge (020 psi) is recommended, as most automotive tire gauges are not accurate at low pressures.
Sanitize the tank before initial use and during each filter replacement. The Reverse Osmosis Sanitizing Maintenance Kit includes Sani-System (EPA- and NSF-certified) and an application syringe, offering a convenient alternative to chlorine bleach.
Installation Note:
3/4 MNPT tank connection: Use I1410625 shut-off valve and connect it to the tank using a 3/4 PVC coupler (830-007)
