Description
The L H DOTTIE CO PLX250B is a bulk pack of 400 black coaxial cable straps designed to secure and organize 1/4-inch coaxial cable runs in residential and commercial installations. These straps mount directly to structural surfaces, keeping cable tight against framing, conduit, or walls without pinching the coax or compromising signal integrity. The black finish helps the straps blend into darker installation environments. Each pack contains 400 individual straps, making this an efficient stocking item for high-volume wiring jobs. Licensed electricians, low-voltage technicians, and cable installers rely on this type of hardware to keep runs neat and code-compliant.
These coaxial straps are suited for low-voltage cable management work in new construction and retrofit applications. Typical use cases include securing RG-6 or similar 1/4-inch coaxial cable along wall studs, ceiling joists, and baseboards. The 400-count quantity supports multi-room or multi-unit installs where consistent, organized cable routing is required. The black color is commonly specified for finished spaces where visible hardware should be unobtrusive.
Key Features
- 1/4-inch cable strap size for standard coaxial cable routing
- Black finish for low-visibility installs in finished spaces
- 400-count bulk pack reduces reorder frequency on larger jobs
- Designed for surface mounting to wood, drywall, and similar substrates
- Appropriate for low-voltage coaxial cable management applications
Compatibility
Designed as an OEM-style cable management solution for securing 1/4-inch coaxial cable in residential and commercial low-voltage wiring installations.
Installation Notes
Installation is typically performed by licensed low-voltage technicians or electricians following NEC Article 820 guidelines for coaxial cable wiring. Power down or de-energize any adjacent circuits before beginning cable routing work. Use a hammer or appropriate fastener driver to seat straps securely without over-driving, which can crush the cable jacket and degrade signal performance. Inspect each strap to confirm the cable seats fully and is not kinked at mounting points.
