Description
The MIDDLE ATLANTIC – U.S. – LEGRAND CFR-11-20 is an 11-space open-frame cabinet rack with a 20-inch depth, designed for organizing and mounting rackmount equipment in structured wiring, AV, and low-voltage systems. This frame-style rack provides a fixed mounting structure for patch panels, switches, amplifiers, and other standard 19-inch rackmount gear. It is a single-unit product sold individually and is typically installed by low-voltage technicians, AV integrators, and network infrastructure professionals working in equipment rooms, closets, or server areas.
The CFR-11-20 suits residential and light commercial applications where a full enclosed cabinet is not required but organized, rail-mounted equipment management is needed. Its 11-space (11U) height accommodates a moderate number of rackmount units, making it well-suited for smaller equipment rooms, AV racks, or structured media centers where space is at a premium and airflow around equipment is a priority.
Key Features
- 11-space (11U) rack height for organizing rackmount equipment in compact installations
- 20-inch depth supports standard shallow-depth rackmount devices
- Open-frame cabinet design promotes natural airflow around installed equipment
- Accepts standard 19-inch rackmount panels, switches, and modules
- Sold as a single unit for straightforward procurement and deployment
Compatibility
Designed as an OEM-style rack frame compatible with standard 19-inch rackmount equipment commonly used in AV, low-voltage, and network infrastructure installations.
Installation Notes
Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians or AV integrators following applicable structured wiring and equipment mounting standards. Power down and disconnect all equipment before mounting or servicing components within the rack. Ensure the rack is secured to a stable surface or wall anchor point per local building and electrical code requirements before loading equipment. Verify that combined equipment weight does not exceed the structural rating of the mounting surface.
