Description
The MIDDLE ATLANTIC – U.S. – LEGRAND 46055 is a 2-space flat economy blank panel finished in black, designed to fill unused rack unit openings in standard 19-inch equipment racks. Blank panels maintain proper airflow management by blocking open spaces that would otherwise allow hot exhaust air to recirculate into equipment intakes. At 3.5 inches in height, this flat-profile panel fits flush within the rack frame. It is a straightforward rackmount accessory installed by AV integrators, IT technicians, and electrical contractors during rack builds or equipment changeouts.
This blank panel is suited for use in data centers, server rooms, AV equipment racks, and broadcast or control room installations where open rack spaces need to be covered. It is particularly useful during phased rack builds where equipment slots are reserved for future use. The black finish blends with standard black rack enclosures commonly used in professional installations.
