Description
The PANDUIT UTPSP13MGRY is a Cat 6 copper patch cord designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. This patch cord provides reliable high-speed data transmission at Cat 6 performance levels, supporting Gigabit Ethernet and other bandwidth-intensive applications. The gray jacket finish allows for easy visual identification in patch panel fields and equipment racks. It is typically installed by low-voltage cabling technicians and network infrastructure professionals working in data centers, telecom rooms, and office environments.
This patch cord is suited for use in horizontal cabling systems, equipment rooms, and work area connections where Cat 6 performance is required. It is appropriate for structured cabling systems built to TIA-568 standards. The gray color coding is commonly used for standard data ports, helping technicians manage and trace connections in dense cable environments. Each unit is sold individually.
Key Features
- Cat 6 rated for Gigabit Ethernet and high-bandwidth data applications
- Copper conductor construction for reliable signal transmission
- Gray jacket for easy port identification and cable management
- Sold individually, allowing flexible quantity purchasing
- Designed for use in structured cabling patch panel and equipment rack terminations
Compatibility
Designed as a standard Cat 6 copper patch cord for use with Cat 6 and Cat 6-compatible patch panels, keystone jacks, and network switches in TIA-568 compliant structured cabling systems.
Installation Notes
Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians or network cabling professionals. Ensure patch panel ports and switch ports are free of debris before seating the connectors. Avoid sharp bends or kinks that exceed the minimum bend radius, as this can degrade Cat 6 signal performance. Follow TIA-568 standards for cable management and labeling in equipment rooms and telecom closets.
