Description
The Pentair 1/2 in. Control Valve (R172086Z) is the OEM replacement flow control valve for Pentair’s automatic chemical feeder lines, including the Commercial Size Feeder and the In-Line Automatic Feeder.
This valve regulates the flow of treated water through the feeder body, controlling the rate at which sanitizer is introduced into the pool circulation system. A worn or damaged control valve can result in inconsistent chemical dosing either under-treating the water or allowing uncontrolled sanitizer flow that accelerates downstream equipment wear.
