The lid assembly seals the top of the Dynamic Series II & III cartridge filter housing, maintaining system pressure and providing access to the filter cartridge for routine service. A compromised or cracked lid can result in pressure loss, water leakage at the filter head, or inability to maintain prime. Replacing the complete assembly restores a factory-correct seal and structural integrity to the filter top.
