Description
The Swimables Thermistor SW-41-053 is the sensor behind the temperature reading shown on your heater’s control panel. When the display begins reporting abnormally high temperatures, that is a clear signal that this component has failed and needs replacement. Because the thermistor is a non-resettable part, the only remedy is a fresh unit. Compatible with most Pentair MasterTemp, Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm, and ETI 400 Natural Gas swimming pool heaters, the SW-41-053 sits within the manifold adapter inlet, where its electronic temperature sensing capability governs heater operation. Whenever inlet water temperature falls below the setpoint on the operating control, the burner controller activates the combustion air blower through a series of safety interlocks.
