The Pentair Outlet Connector (711006Z) is the OEM replacement outlet connector for Clean & Clear cartridge filter systems, providing the outlet connection at the filter tank.

Compatibility with Clean & Clear Filter Systems has been confirmed for units manufactured 2009 and beyond. If your Clean & Clear filter was manufactured before 2009, verify the part number against your equipment’s manual or the original part before ordering.
The outlet connector threads into the filter tank body and accepts the return hose or plumbing connection that routes filtered water back to the pool. A damaged or cracked connector at this fitting point will result in water loss and loss of system pressure. Replacing this connector with the correct OEM part restores a leak-free, pressure-rated outlet connection. Match the part number stamped or molded on your existing connector before ordering.

Before ordering, inspect the threads on the existing connector. If the tank body threads are damaged rather than the connector itself, replacing the connector alone will not resolve the leak consult your equipment’s installation manual or a qualified pool technician. When replacing the connector, use thread sealant rated for pool plumbing fittings and do not overtighten hand-tight plus 12 turns with a wrench is sufficient for NPT fittings in filter applications.
