Description
OEM Seal Plate for the Pentair WhisperFlo XF Pump
The Pentair WhisperFlo XF Seal Plate (400002Z) is the OEM replacement seal plate for the WhisperFlo XF series pump.
What It Does
The seal plate forms the structural interface between the pump’s wet end and the motor, housing the shaft seal assembly and maintaining the critical barrier that keeps water separated from the motor. A cracked or damaged seal plate compromises this barrier and can allow water to migrate toward the motor making prompt replacement essential to protecting the drive end of the pump.

Pro Tip
When replacing the seal plate, inspect the shaft seal at the same time if the seal plate has failed, the shaft seal has likely been exposed to stress as well. Match the part number stamped or molded on your existing seal plate to 400002Z before ordering to confirm fitment with your specific WhisperFlo XF configuration.
