The Swimline 4′ x 4′ winter air pillow, part WP44, sits between the water and the winter cover and takes the pressure that expanding ice would otherwise put on your pool wall, stocked under SKU PST-WP44. It also lifts the center of the cover so rain and melting snow run to the edges instead of collecting in a heavy pond over the middle. Inflate to roughly 60 to 80 percent so the pillow still has room to compress when the surface freezes. Grommets at the corners let you tie it off and keep it centered all winter.
